BANDS: 1.) JAKOB QUARTETT: Book/ CD: Jazz für Kinder/ Überreuter Classic piano trio with trumpet. The Jakob Quartett’s programme consists of a musical journey in time through the history of Jazz using the song „Bruder Jakob“ as an example. The arrangements range from Ragtime to Nu-Jazz, with the musical approach of the interpretation set in the area of modern, contemporary Jazz. The programme was originally intended for the production of a children’s book. The flexibility of the individual members of the Ensemble allows for various types of performance: from children’s theatre to club concerts. Line Up: Lorenz Raab- Trumpet Julia Siedl- Piano Oliver Steger- Bass Harry Tanschek- Drums 2.) FICTIONARY: Crossover project, stylistically placed between Pop, Rock and Jazz. The band plays original compositions by Heimo Trixner, Meena Cryle and Oliver Steger.
